This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses ManageCanvas, including Artists
and visitors to Artist storefronts. It is part of our Terms of Service.
You may not use ManageCanvas to
- Post or sell content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights, or that
you do not have the right to sell. - Misrepresent authenticity, provenance, or edition size, or issue certificates for works you did
not create or are not authorized to attest to. - Post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or hateful content, or content that is obscene or that
sexualises minors. - Sell items or engage in transactions prohibited by law or by our payment providers (for example,
counterfeit goods, regulated or illegal items). - Send spam or unlawful marketing, or email people who have not consented or have unsubscribed.
- Collect or misuse others' personal data, or use buyer data you obtain through the Service for
anything other than fulfilling and supporting your own sales. - Attempt to breach security, access accounts or data that aren't yours, probe or disrupt the
Service, circumvent rate limits or fees, or introduce malware. - Scrape the Service at scale, or use it to build a competing dataset, except as permitted by law.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
Enforcement
We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate this AUP or the law — with
notice where practical, or immediately where necessary to protect people, the Service, or third
parties. Serious violations may be reported to authorities.
