Add your first artwork

Upload images, add the details, and publish a piece to your public gallery.

Your gallery is the heart of your site. Adding a piece takes a minute.

Upload

  1. In the sidebar, open Studio → Gallery.
  2. Drag image files onto the uploader, or click to choose them. Each file becomes a new draft artwork — upload several at once to add a batch.

Upload the highest-quality image you have. ManageCanvas keeps your original as the master — used later for prints and certificates — and automatically generates the right sizes for the web.

Add the details

  1. Click a piece to open its editor.
  2. Fill in title, medium, year, dimensions, and a description. These appear on the artwork's public page.
  3. Add more images to the same piece if you have detail or in-situ shots.

Publish

A new piece starts as a draft — only you can see it. When it's ready, toggle it to Published and it appears on your public gallery.

Next

  • Offer the piece for sale by creating an edition.
  • Group related pieces into a collection or series from Studio → Collections.
