Getting started with ManageCanvas

A quick tour of your studio dashboard and the five steps to a live artist site.

Updated July 23, 2026

Welcome to ManageCanvas — your studio dashboard is where you build your site, manage your catalog, issue certificates, and get paid. Here's the fastest path from an empty account to a live storefront.

The five steps

Your Overview page shows a getting-started checklist. Complete these and your site is ready to share:

  1. Add your first artwork — upload images and details. See Add your first artwork.
  2. Publish it — flip a piece from draft to published so it appears on your public site.
  3. Write your bio — tell collectors who you are, under Pages or Settings.
  4. Customize your look — pick a theme, colors, and fonts under Appearance.
  5. Issue a certificate of authenticity — the ManageCanvas difference. See Certificates of authenticity.

Finding your way around

The left sidebar groups everything by what you're doing:

  • Studio — your Gallery, Collections, and Analytics.
  • Site — Pages and Appearance for your public storefront.
  • Audience — Inbox, Marketing, Shows, and your Customers.
  • Business — Sales, Payments, Shipping, Print shop, and Billing.
  • Account — Settings, Support, and Help.

Your public site

Every account gets a free site at yourname.managecanvas.com. Use View site to see it the way visitors do, and connect a custom domain when you're ready to use your own.
